The Velveteen Rabbit asks the Skin Horse how toys become 'real'. The Skin Horse replies, "Real isn't how you are made, it's a thing that happens to you. When a child loves you for a long, long time, not just to play with, but REALLY loves you, then you become REAL.
For vocal solo, duet or unison choir. Ages 7 and up.
